In the spring of 2017, a visit to a north Tulsa convenience store turned deadly for 51-year-old Aftab Ahmed. On the evening of April 28th, what began as a robbery escalated into a homicide, leaving a family and community in mourning.

Ahmed was working as a clerk at the store when the fatal incident unfolded. During the course of the armed robbery, he was shot and tragically lost his life. The event prompted an intensive investigation by the Tulsa Police Department as they sought to bring ...
