Tamera Renee “Tammy” Moore, a 38-year-old White/Caucasian female, tragically lost her life on September 4, 2017. Born in De Queen, Arkansas, on October 31, 1978, she was known in her community as a clerk. Her sudden and violent death sent ripples of shock and grief through those who knew her.
The incident began to unfold when authorities received a call about a prowler in the 100
block of S. Gardner St. in Valliant. Upon their arrival at the residence, officers made a grim discovery. Inside, they found the lifeless body of Tamera Moore. It was determined by investigators that she had sustained a fatal gunshot wound, immediately launching a homicide investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
Also present inside the home was 42-year-old Geoffrey Tyrone Briley, who was identified as Moore's ex-boyfriend. His presence at the crime scene prompted swift action from law enforcement.
