In the quiet backcountry near Sallisaw, Oklahoma, a grim discovery was made in November of 1985, shattering the peace of the rural community. At a remote campsite, the body of 35-year-old Linda Wheeler was found, her life tragically cut short by a brutal beating and stabbing.
