In the late summer of 2018, the life of 21-year-old LeNaryd Daijon Tillis was cut short in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Tillis was fatally wounded in what was described as a 'running gun battle' near an elementary school in north Tulsa. The young man, a resident of Tulsa at the time of his passing, was a victim of gun violence.
