In the late hours of a September night in Oklahoma City, a discovery was made that would forever alter the lives of one family. Inside a residence, police found 38-year-old Ricardo Moreno Perez, a victim of gun violence. The initial call to authorities was to check on his welfare, a common request that in this instance, ended in a homicide investigation.
