In the city of Norman, Oklahoma, a community was unsettled by the unexpected death of Jonathan Nichols, a 53-year-old male who had once been a prominent figure in state politics. On the evening of June 5, 2019, police officers responded to a call reporting a gunshot wound at a residence in the 3900 block of Annalane Drive.
