In an attempt to peacefully resolve a conflict between his younger brother and another young man, 31-year-old Michael Jerome Young was fatally shot on September 3, 2019. The male victim, a respected figure in his community, had gone to settle a dispute when the tragic events unfolded in Del City, Oklahoma. Remembered as a loving and caring individual, Young was a father to three children and was known for his volunteer work with troubled teens.
