In a tragic turn of events that unfolded on a November morning in Oklahoma City, Ronald Wilson, a 56-year-old White/Caucasian male, lost his life in a violent encounter. The incident, which took place on November 3, 2015, was the result of a murder-suicide involving his ex-wife, Alice Wilson.
Neighbors in the 3100 block of Northwest 21st Street were alarmed by the sound of multiple gunshots.
Their calls brought police to the residence where they discovered the bodies of both Ronald and Alice Wilson in the backyard of the home. The investigation that followed determined that Alice Wilson had shot her ex-husband before taking her own life.
The couple had recently finalized their divorce, a factor that authorities believe may have contributed to the tragic events. The Oklahoma City Police Department's investigation concluded that Alice Wilson was the perpetrator, and as a result, no other suspects were sought in connection with Ronald Wilson's death. The case was subsequently closed, marking the 76th homicide in Oklahoma City that year and leaving the community to grapple with the devastating consequences of domestic turmoil.
