In the spring of 2022, a violent encounter in Oklahoma City tragically cut short the life of Jose Contreras, a 32-year-old Hispanic man. The incident unfolded on the afternoon of Friday, April 15th, in front of Contreras's own home at 2117 SW 47th St. An altercation, the details of which remain elusive, escalated to the point of gunfire, leaving Contreras with a fatal wound.
