In the quiet of a late Friday evening in Oklahoma City, a tragic and unforeseen event cut short the life of Billy Sorrels, a 45-year-old white male. On May 30, 2025, just before midnight, police and emergency responders were called to a residence at 4706 Sunnyview Drive, where they discovered Mr. Sorrels deceased at the scene. An investigation swiftly determined that his death was the result of a gunshot wound, marking the city's 28th homicide of the year.
