In the quiet south side of Oklahoma City, a devout and generous man, Merle William Southwick, a 71-year-old male, was discovered deceased in his home on the evening of August 4, 2024. The grim finding was made by his brother who had gone to check on him before church. Responding to a call about a deceased person at approximately 8:49 PM, officers from the Oklahoma City Police Department arrived at the residence located at 6610 S. Shields.
