In the late hours of a Saturday night in Oklahoma City, a fatal encounter unfolded at a 7-11 convenience store, forever altering the lives of those involved. On March 5, 2022, 43-year-old Victor Pappan, an Indigenous male, was at the convenience store located at 1245 SW 29th St.. An altercation between Pappan and an employee of the store escalated, tragically ending with Pappan being shot and killed.
