In the autumn of 2019, the life of 19-year-old Tariq Za’wone Jackson was tragically cut short in his hometown of Lawton, Oklahoma. A Black male, Jackson became the victim of a homicide on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. The cause of his untimely death was determined to be a gunshot wound.
