In the quiet city of Lawton, Oklahoma, a beloved member of the community, Da'Mon Russell Jones, a 37-year-old Black male, was tragically killed. On the evening of January 18, 2025, law enforcement responded to a call in the 1700 block of NW Kingsbury, where they discovered Jones suffering from gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
