On a Thursday evening in Lawton, Oklahoma, the life of Allen Anderson, a 32-year-old Black / African American man, was tragically cut short. On September 18, 2014, Anderson was at the Dew Drop Inn when he was fatally shot. Lawton police were called to the scene at 1804 N.W. Ft. Sill Boulevard around 8:30 p.m., where they discovered Anderson with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
