In the quiet hours of Easter Sunday morning in Lawton, Oklahoma, the life of 19-year-old Clayton Stephens was tragically cut short. A white cisgender gay male, Stephens was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to his face on April 9, 2023. His friends last saw him on the preceding Saturday evening when he departed from their home with the intention of a swift return.
