On September 10, 2020, a tragic incident at the Outlaws Motorcycle Club on Southwest Monroe Avenue in Lawton, Oklahoma, resulted in the death of 24-year-old Hadyn Williams. The evening took a fatal turn when a friend of Williams, Jerry Anderson, brought a pistol into the club.
According to witness statements and court documents, Anderson placed the firearm on the bar before picking it up and waving it around.
In a moment of recklessness, the gun discharged, and a single bullet struck Williams in the head. Despite immediate medical attention, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lawton police arrested Anderson at the club. He reportedly expressed remorse, stating that the shooting 'shouldn't have happened' and that he and Williams were friends. Anderson was subsequently charged with first-degree manslaughter, with his bond set at $15,000. During the investigation, a witness revealed they had taken the gun from Anderson after the shooting, unloaded it, and placed it under the bar.
