In the winter of 2021, the community of Oklahoma City was shaken by the city's first homicide of the year. On the cold night of January 9th, a 52-year-old Black/African American woman named Anita Kay Walker, known to her loved ones as 'Nita Kay,' was found deceased in front of her home.
