In the afternoon hours of April 1, 2021, a grim discovery was made in Oklahoma City at the intersection of Northeast 25th Street and Jordan Avenue. Responding to a call, police officers arrived to find 32-year-old Ernest Ogles, a Black male, inside a vehicle, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The initial call to authorities indicated a man had possibly been shot inside the car, a report that was tragically confirmed upon their arrival.
