Brandon Gowdy, a 31-year-old Black man, was tragically killed on January 6, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports, a gunman fired shots from a silver-colored vehicle at around 5 a.m. in the 800 block of West 75th Street. Brandon Gowdy was shot in the arm and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
