Death by Force

In the late summer evening of August 29, 2021, the life of 15-year-old Steven Garland Sinclair Jr., a Black male from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was tragically cut short. Around 9:15 p.m., the sound of gunshots pierced the night near 56th Street North and Garrison Avenue. In the aftermath, Steven was driven to the OSU Medical Center, suffering from gunshot wounds to which he would ultimately succumb. His passing was officially announced on August 30, 2021.
