In the late hours of a Friday night in Oklahoma City, a life was tragically cut short. Sixteen-year-old Oscar Escobedo, a Hispanic male, was caught in the crossfire of a dispute that was not his own. On October 15, 2021, officers were dispatched to the parking lot of an event center near Southwest 59th Street and Agnew Avenue around 11:56 p.m. following reports of a fight and multiple gunshots.
