In the winter of 2019, a violent encounter in a Midwest City parking lot claimed the life of 43-year-old Tyrone Jones. A Black / African American man from Oklahoma City, Jones was fatally shot on December 20th outside of an Auto Zone. Witnesses at the scene described a heated argument between two men in the store's parking lot that tragically escalated to gunfire. Jones sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the altercation.
