In the late morning of Wednesday, November 24, 2021, events tragically unfolded for 18-year-old Davieon Lamont Smith, a Black male, in Oklahoma City. An argument in the 1400 block of North Lottie Avenue escalated, resulting in Smith being shot in the chest just before 11:15 a.m. Emergency services arrived at the scene and transported him to a local hospital for treatment.
