On June 18, 2015, 20-year-old Clarense Dickerson was shot and killed in northeast Oklahoma City. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Access Medical Center on NE 23rd Street after an altercation between two men, which initially began at a nearby AutoZone. Following the dispute, the fatal shots were fired, and Dickerson was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His death marked the city's 31st homicide of the year.
