In the winter of 2022, the life of 18-year-old Isaiah Jones, a male, was cut short in a burst of gunfire in north Tulsa. The shooting, which occurred around midnight on January 29th, also left a 17-year-old male seriously injured. A person who knew both victims heard the shots from their home and rushed them to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, Jones succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead. The surviving victim was treated for his injuries.
