On a cold Monday in Racine, Wisconsin, the life of 27-year-old Andrew Lee Jones Jr., a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On March 2, 2015, Jones was found deceased inside the apartment he shared with his roommate on 3 Mile Road at Erie Street, having suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. The initial investigation into his death quickly pointed towards his roommate, Jacob Rogers, as the primary suspect.
