On a summer evening in Milwaukee, the life of 23-year-old Marcino Marin was tragically cut short. On July 2, 2015, Marin was fatally shot in the 2400 block of S. 5th Place. At the time of the incident, a 16-year-old male was also wounded, suggesting a chaotic and violent encounter. The shooting was part of a particularly violent holiday weekend in the city, which saw a total of eleven shootings and five homicides in just three days.
