In the summer of 2016, a single act of violence cut short the life of Antonio Patterson, a 20-year-old Black / African American male from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On the evening of Friday, August 5, 2016, in the vicinity of North 24th Place and West Capitol Drive, gunfire erupted, and Patterson became its fatal victim.
