On July 13, 2023, Scott Bee, a 55-year-old armored car guard from Waukesha, Wisconsin, was shot during a robbery outside North Shore Bank in Milwaukee. The incident occurred around 8:03 a.m. as Bee and another guard were depositing cash into an ATM. Surveillance footage captured the moment a suspect approached and opened fire, striking Bee. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries on July 25, 2023.
