In the early evening of November 15, 2011, a single act of violence irrevocably altered a Milwaukee neighborhood and ended the life of 37-year-old Marvin Thomas. A White / Caucasian male, Thomas was engaged in a conversation with another person on the street at approximately 5:45 p.m. when a brief quarrel with a different man quickly escalated.
