In the summer of 2016, a weekend in Milwaukee was marked by a wave of violence that left several families mourning. Among the victims was Tyrone Richmond, a 21-year-old Black man. On the night of Saturday, August 13, 2016, Richmond’s life was cut short in a burst of gunfire.
