Devonta Taylor

In the early evening of April 28, 2016, the life of a young African-American man, Devonta D. Taylor, was tragically cut short on a street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Taylor, who was 25 years old at the time, was in the 2500 block of North 38th Street when violence erupted. At approximately 5:17 p.m., the Milwaukee Police Department received a report of a shooting and immediately dispatched officers to the scene.
