In the quiet pre-dawn hours of July 22, 2025, the Old North Milwaukee neighborhood was rocked by sudden violence that claimed the life of 40-year-old Donald McGraw. He and his friend, 50-year-old Julius Arberry, were fatally shot outside Arberry's home near the corner of 41st and Glendale. The male victims were discovered by police responding to reports of gunfire around 2:30 a.m. McGraw was found on the porch steps, while Arberry was located on the nearby sidewalk.
