Keith Davis, a 22-year-old Black man, was fatally shot on the night of August 30, 2025, on Milwaukee’s northwest side. Milwaukee police were called to the area of North 61st Street and West Congress Street at approximately 9:28 p.m. after gunfire was reported. Davis had suffered gunshot wounds and was still alive when first responders reached him. He was rushed to a local hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he died from his injuries.

She described him as loyal and as someone whose personality could make the people around him laugh, emphasizing that his family remembered far more than the violent circumstances in which his life ended.
