In the winter of 2023, the life of Davontae Stamps, a 23-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On the evening of January 23rd, violence erupted near the intersection of Sherman Boulevard and Hope Avenue, resulting in a triple shooting that would leave a community shaken. When Milwaukee police officers responded to the calls, they discovered a grim scene. Davontae Stamps was found deceased, having succumbed to fatal gunshot wounds.
