In the early hours of a summer morning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 18-year-old Azion J. Bow, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On July 8, 2017, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Bow was shot while sitting in a parked car in the 5600 block of N. 95th Street. He was not alone; a 17-year-old female companion was also struck by the gunfire and sustained serious injuries.
