In the late evening of September 15, 2019, the life of 23-year-old Keshawn Jenkins, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Shortly before 9 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the night in the 5900 block of 19th Avenue. When officers from the Kenosha Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Jenkins suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite any efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Medical Examiner.
