In the early hours of a Thursday morning in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the sound of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn quiet. When police responded to a call of shots fired near 14th Avenue and 40th Street on December 5, 2019, they discovered a grim scene. Inside a home, they found two men who had been shot. One of them, a 25-year-old Hispanic male named Osiel Jaimes-Estrada, was deceased. The other man, who was also wounded in the shooting, was treated for his injuries.
