In the early hours of a Thursday morning in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the sound of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn quiet. When police responded to a call of shots fired near 14th Avenue and 40th Street on December 5, 2019, they discovered a grim scene. Inside a home, they found two men who had been shot.
