On the evening of May 4, 2020, Antonio Shaw, a 48-year-old Black/African American man, was working his shift as a caregiver at a group home on Badger Lane in Madison, Wisconsin. The night took a tragic turn when the sound of gunshots broke the quiet. Authorities were called to the scene, and upon arrival, they discovered Shaw lying next to a vehicle outside the residence he had just been working in.
