On a late Saturday afternoon in Madison, Wisconsin, the life of 19-year-old Malik J. Moss was tragically cut short. On September 28, 2019, at approximately 6:04 p.m., the young Black / African American man was shot multiple times in the 500 block of Northport Drive on the city's north side. The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office would later confirm that Moss, a resident of the nearby community of Sun Prairie, died as a result of homicidal firearm-related trauma.
