On a summer evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of Myles Elliot Laster, a 20-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On July 1, 2020, in the vicinity of 60th Street and Bradley Avenue, Laster was shot and killed. The incident took place at approximately 6:50 p.m., a time when the day was beginning to wind down for many in the city.
