On the night of December 6, 2021, Jose Stanton, a 28-year-old male, was working his shift as a security guard at the Days Inn & Suites near 6th and Vine in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. An argument is believed to have led to the fatal shooting that occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m. Friends and family believe Stanton was attempting to break up a fight when the situation escalated.
