In the summer of 2021, a burst of violence cut short the life of 34-year-old TJ Howard, a Black/African American man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On June 21st of that year, Howard was fatally wounded by gunfire in an incident that also claimed the life of another man, 49-year-old Cinjinio "Tee-O" Leonard Antonio Ward, Sr.
