Lee Santos Hernandez, a 39-year-old Hispanic/Latino man, was killed during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The shooting happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. near South 20th Street and West Greenfield Avenue, an area on Milwaukee's south side. Police responding to the scene found Hernandez suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at the scene, turning what began as an overnight shooting response into a homicide investigation.
