Gerald D. Thames, a 33-year-old Black/African American male, was fatally shot on July 18, 2021, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident that led to his death was the subject of a thorough investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department, which subsequently ruled his death a homicide.
