In the city of Milwaukee, a family was irrevocably fractured on October 19, 2024, when Troy L. Humes, a 57-year-old Black / African American male, was found dead in his home. The grim discovery was made on a Saturday evening, around 5 p.m., at a residence near 29th and Courtland. When officers arrived, they found Humes had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
