In the early morning hours of July 5, 2021, the life of Alton P. Green, a 38-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His body was discovered hidden near 27th and Atkinson, where it was determined he had been shot multiple times. The day after the Fourth of July became a day of mourning for a family and community that remembered Green for his leadership and the positive energy he brought to those around him.
