In the early morning hours of July 19, 2025, a violent encounter in downtown Milwaukee claimed the life of 21-year-old Raymond Wilson Jr. The fatal shooting occurred around 2:10 a.m. near the intersection of Milwaukee Street and Juneau Avenue, in close proximity to the Milwaukee School of Engineering campus.
