Dreon A. Henry-Malone, a 31-year-old Black man from Milwaukee, was killed on the morning of July 2, 2025, after gunfire broke the quiet around 49th Street and West Fairmount Avenue. Just after 7 a.m., an argument erupted and shots followed; by the time first responders arrived, Henry-Malone was mortally wounded and another person, 32 years old, was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
